National Public Lands Day: Mount Dean Stone workday and BBQ

Public lands are part what makes Montana, Montana. This year, Five Valleys is honored to be partnering with REI, the Montana Conservation CorpsMTB Missoula, and Missoula Parks and Recreation to celebrate the special places that belong to all of us. Join us for a day of trail building and sign installation on the South Hills Spur of Mount Dean Stone followed by a BBQ lunch.

When: Saturday, September 30th; 9:00am-1:00pm

Where: The South Hills Spur, on Mount Dean Stone

Pre-registration for this event is required. Register for the workday here.

All ages are welcome. Participants should bring gloves, a hat and sunscreen. Please wear work clothes that are suitable for changing weather and closed-toe shoes.
