Erickson conservation easement, Pattee Canyon
Help wildlife move across the landscape and beautify conservation lands during this fence removal Hands on the Land volunteer workday! We'll be working with the landowner to remove old fencing. Five Valleys will provide lunch and beverages.

Stave & Hoop, Missoula's local speakeasy, is kicking off their very first Community Night and are donating 10% of drink sales to support Five Valleys on Thursday, October 10th. So, gather your friends and raise a glass to support conservation. Join the Rock Creek Protective Association for some stewardship workdays in scenic Rock Creek! On October 12th the RCPA will be working to maintain Babcock Mountain Trail #10 in partnership with the Lolo National Forest. Learn more and RSVP to Ingrid at johnson.evavold@gmail.com.

Help support the only organized race on the Mount Dean Stone Community Forest! Our partners at Run Wild Missoula are gearing up for the second annual City to Sky 50k race and are in need of volunteers to help set up, man aid stations, and other tasks. Learn more and sign up here.

Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in the only organized trail race on Mount Jumbo!
During this 15k race put on by Run Wild Missoula, participants will experience stunning landscapes as you traverse the winter home of the Mount Jumbo elk herd. The Mount Jumbo closes to all recreation on December 1st – take this chance to practice responsible recreation on Missoula’s Conservation & Open Space Lands and welcome the wildlife herds back to Jumbo!
