Truly a Community River Park

In Lincoln, our project to provide safe, public access to the Blackfoot River, through the Lincoln Community River Park, continues to thrive with the support of the community it serves.

As the number of visitors continued to increase over the summer, the Lincoln community helped to maintain the park: volunteers from with the Ponderosa Snow Warriors helped to manage noxious weeds and community members mowed and maintained trails.

In October, the Blackfoot Challenge and Five Valleys hosted a Youth Field Day at the park, where 20 Lincoln 5th and 6th graders got the opportunity to spend an autumn day by the river learning about science and enjoying the outdoors.

Five Valleys is happy for the opportunity to help provide this beautiful place, and grateful for the residents of Lincoln who are truly making it their Community River Park.
