Why Become a Member?

In western Montana, we can scale a mountain, run a river, hike and bike on trails, enjoy foods raised on a family farm, or just marvel at the natural beauty of the magnificent landscape.

At Five Valleys Land Trust, we're working to protect our way of life for generations to come, in popular recreational places like Mount Jumbo, Mount Sentinel, the Alberton Gorge; and in important wildlife habitat and on working farms and ranches from Darby to Lincoln and Superior to Deer Lodge.

Since 1972, our successes have been made possible by the support of our members.  We have exciting projects in the works in Missoula, the Blackfoot River watershed, the Flint Creek Valley, and the Bitterroot Valley, and your help is more important now than ever.

Members receive our semi-annual newsletter and annual report, along with invitations to easement celebrations and other special events.

Join Today and help protect what you love about western Montana.

Spend an evening watering shrubs and fixing browse protectors at the lovely Circle Bar Ranch near Potomac. We need your help to nurture the shrubs and trees that were planted to improve the native trout habitat of Ashby Creek.  As always, we will provide a hearty picnic lunch.  And as a bonus, all participants will receive Monte Dolack's "Autumn at Cottonwood Creek" print.

Meet us at 4pm at the Eastgate Park & Ride parking lot or at the old Potomac Bar at 4:45pm.

Kindly RSVP by Wednesday, August 18th by phone 241-1887 or email ryan@fvlt.org.
